A small group of parents and volunteers got a whole lot of work done at the school:? Dick, Jerry, Tyce and Steve installed the railings on the bridge of the playstructure, which looks wonderful.? Later, it will get a roof as well.? There are still two landings to build and a hood will be fitted to each slide.? It was really exciting to cross from one tower to another at last!? Meanwhile, JB Handyman (aka "Poppa") finished enclosing the ramp to the bathrooms, a long-overdue project, then went on the work with Shanna building rugged shelves for the new steel storage container.? Over in the forlorn yurt, Yours Truly tore out a loft full of trash, wasps, spiders and mice.? The ceiling is open now, and a few of us hope to initiate work on the structure this fall.? Many thanks to the crew that gave so much on this Saturday: our school looks great!
