Gail Crosby: "I'm an Eastern transplant (Pittsburgh); and have been in California since 1976.I received a BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University, and augmented that years later with a teaching credential from HSU. Teaching the kids at Salmon Creek School has been a fun experience; learning to be a cooperative parent and school board member has been one of the formative times of my life. I have noted that SCCS teaches the children, and the parents too.
I enjoy nature walks, gardening, and playing Scrabble with friends. Since the school year started, I have been immersed in history, and find it fascinating. I hope to transmit some of my enthusiasm to the students.
